PewBuild is operated by Ryan Wolff, Phoenix, Arizona, United States. "We" below means him.
By using PewBuild you accept what follows. If you do not, the site is free to leave.
What PewBuild is
A planning tool. You choose components, it checks them against recorded specifications, and it shows you an illustration of the result. It sells nothing, ships nothing, and transfers nothing.
What the fit report claims
Fit verdicts come from specifications published by manufacturers, recorded with a source URL and a retrieval date. That is the whole basis. Which means:
- A specification can be wrong, stale, or missing. Manufacturers revise parts and pages. A verdict reflects what a page said when it was read.
- Unrecorded never means compatible. Where a specification is absent the report says the check could not run. That is not a pass.
- The 3D view is an illustration. Two shapes not intersecting on screen is never why a build passes. Nothing visual is evidence.
- Verify before you buy. Against the manufacturer's current documentation, and against the parts in your hands.
PewBuild is information, not advice, and not a substitute for a qualified gunsmith.
Legal compliance is yours
Firearm law varies by country, state, county and city, and changes. The compliance rules in this site ship unreviewed — no citations, no named reviewer — which is why the site refuses to issue a clean compliance verdict and says so on every evaluation.
Nothing here is legal advice. You are responsible for knowing and obeying every law that applies to you, including configuration restrictions, magazine capacity limits, National Firearms Act items, and the transfer rules for serialized components. If a build is lawful where you are is your question to answer, not ours.
Prices and availability
Prices shown were observed on a manufacturer's page on a recorded date. They are a planning figure, not an offer, not a quote, and not current. The retailer's price at checkout is the real one.
Trademarks
Manufacturer and product names belong to their owners and are used here to identify the parts they describe. PewBuild is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any manufacturer named on this site. No manufacturer has reviewed or approved anything here.
Our content
The compatibility engine, the interface, the illustrations and the writing are ours. Specifications are facts and we claim no ownership of them. You are welcome to use the site, link to it, and share builds. You may not scrape it wholesale, pass it off as yours, or resell it.
Affiliate links
We have applied to affiliate programmes; none is live yet. When one is, some outbound links will earn a commission at no cost to you. A commission never affects a fit verdict — the engine evaluates specifications and has no knowledge of what any link pays. See the affiliate disclosure.
No warranty, and limits
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. We do not warrant that it will be available, correct, or complete.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site, including a part that does not fit, a purchase you regret, or a configuration that turns out to be unlawful where you live. You use your own judgement and bear your own risk.
Changes
These terms may change. The date above moves when they do, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
This page has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It states plainly what the site does and does not claim, which is the right starting point — but before you take money through affiliate links, have it and the privacy policy reviewed by someone qualified in your jurisdiction.
