PewBuild is operated by Ryan Wolff, Phoenix, Arizona, United States — reachable at admin.pewbuild@gmail.com. "We" below means him.

PewBuild is a configurator. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no contact form and no server of its own. The short version is that it holds nothing about you, because there is nowhere for it to put anything.

What stays in your browser

Builds you save are written to local storage in your own browser. They are not transmitted anywhere, not visible to us, and not recoverable by us if you lose them. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them permanently.

The same applies to the view settings the studio remembers while you use it — the selected finish, lighting and step.

What the host sees

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — to deliver pages and protect against abuse. That processing is Cloudflare's, governed by their privacy policy, and we do not add to it or extract from it.

What we do not do

• No analytics. No Google Analytics, no pixels, no session recording.
• No advertising networks and no advertising cookies.
• No email list, because there is nothing to sign up to.
• No selling or sharing of personal information, because none is collected.

Links to other sites

PewBuild links out to manufacturers and retailers. Once you follow a link you are on their site under their policies, which we do not control.

We have applied to affiliate programmes. No affiliate links are live yet. When they are, the networks that run them typically set a cookie recording that you arrived from here, so a purchase can be credited. At that point this page will say which networks, what they set, and how long it lasts — before the first link goes up, not after. See the affiliate disclosure.

Who this site is for

PewBuild is intended for adults. It is a reference tool about firearm components; it sells nothing and transfers nothing. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Rights to access, correct or delete personal data — under the GDPR, the CCPA or anything similar — operate on data a company holds. We hold none. The data this site creates is in your browser, under your control, and you can delete it yourself at any time through your browser's settings.

Changes

If this changes — most likely when affiliate links go live — the date at the top changes with it, and the change will be described rather than quietly folded in.
